Great question. I just started my babs treatment yesterday-Mepron plus Zith and I am on Humaworm today my joints ache, I feel chills, getting a headache, my neck is stiff and I am sort of spacey. But I am not sure if this is babs being affected by the Mepron (only 2nd dose) or Humaworm killing parasites. I am about in the middle of the second week for Humaworm.

My body temp was low last night, I was freezing, then hot. Felt light-headed and some air hunger symptoms. My feet hurt worse after taking the pill for a couple days, headache for a couple days. I *think* it's the babs but I'm also being treated for the Lyme, so I don't know for sure.

I just read that the milk thistle in Humaworm interferes with the Mepron levels in the blood, looks like I will be taking a break from that now.
In which case I will know if the herx I am feeling is from Humaworm or Mepron....bet its the Humaworm. I read somewhere it takes like 2-3 weeks before Mepron causes a herx don't know if thats true or not.

When I tried Mepron, the main difference I noticed was, for lack of a better term, 'hot spells'. Not exactly feverish, but during periods of the day I'd all of a sudden feel strangely warm, kinda like a mini-fever.

I had days when I breathed a little better, other days when I breathed worse -- so no idea if it was the Mepron or coincidence.

Also not sure if the mini-fever thing was from Mepron killing Babesia or a side effect. I also got very itchy and some blotchy rashes, but that was either my immune system overreacting or allergic reaction, probably.
