I'm no expert here, but my LLMD has me taking Rocephin 4 days a week then Flagyl 3 days a week. I take it the 3 days I am not taking the Rocephin.
This was by his guidance, but I am now questioning him after discovering a few other things he told me may not be that accurate.
So I will be watching for what others say too.

Just get it in there somewhere. If you're not going to have Rocephin for more than a month, then it really doesn't matter much. But why let the cysts build up if you don't have to??
How much would be up to your doctor. He should know.

I am on IV Rocephin for bad neuro Lyme. Was on this back in 2007 for 4 wks, relapsed, then back on 8 wks, relapsed. Been on it now for 3 weeks with ~20% improvement, some bad herxing, but I am wondering if you have had success pulsing in the Flagyl? I see MD today and wanted to discuss this option while I still have the PICC line in. I did oral doxy and Tindamax in past and that seemed to help, but I do not think I was on them long enough. I have never tried Flagyl. Did adding Flagyl with Rocephin help any of you? If not, how about oral Tindamax? Thanks.
