I just discovered mangosteen fruit which is so pose to work as natural antibiotic.

I have been feeling really good, and stopped taking antibiotics 2 mo. ago.

I had finally got my partial seizures under control 8 mo. ago and was thrilled. I decided to

try the mangosteen capsules which were pretty inexpensive. Third day taking them and BAM 2 partial seizures back to back.

From what I have read I think it was actually a herx? I was wondering what amount others have started with. I was only taking 475 mg. (1cap.)

Thank you so much!

MAYBE Lymetoo can answer that question for you?

You know, Lyme TuTu... the one who keeps dropping her drawers in public for the whole world to see?

Yes, she is a silly one, but we do love her!

Wish I could help but I am not a fruity person.

TuTu... don't even go there!

I hope you didn't mean to imply that drinking mangosteen juice makes Tutu's drawers drop?

I drink it, my drawers stay up, and my eye symptoms stay down.

I drink a half ounce twice a day. I drink the Ultra and Mango-Xan versions. There are lots of options.

Tutu loves Xango. Rhymes with tango. [Big Grin]

Thanks to Fruitcake for alerting me to this thread! [Big Grin]

I'll try to keep my drawers up while responding.

I have zero experience with mangosteen capsules. I would have zero faith in them. Who knows what additives are in the capsules?? Read the label and see what else is in it.

We also don't know if they used the RIND of the mangosteen fruit (the medicinal part) or just the inside of the fruit (the fluff).

What you want is what is in rind. If you are choosing a liquid mangosteen it should be red/maroon in color. The rind of the fruit is of that color. No color, no real benefit.

(you may also want to see if they added coloring to the juice.. that would be really bad)

Robin is right. I swear by my Xango. Nothing else will do.

Yes, you could herx on mangosteen. Just make sure you are herxing on the mangosteen and not just having a reaction to the additives to the capsules.

That's all I know!!
