I have a severe case of neuro lyme and am constantly exhausted and in severe pain. I'm sleeping an average of 20 hours per day, which doesn't seem common with those posting here. I'm on a pain patch due to constant pain signals and start tremoring when I fall asleep. My brain cannot stop and rest, as it's either making me tremor and jerk, or it's reading pain signals. HOW COMMON IS THIS FOR NEURO-LYME (plus Babesia plus Bartonella)?

So sorry to hear of this. I'm in bed about 16-18 hours per day due to severe pain also, but sleep only about 9-10. Takes me 3 hours after taking pain meds to fall to sleep. No dreams (or I don't remember them).

Hope you feel better, gentle hugs, you're not alone. I miss my old self soooo very much.

M2 I have severe neuro lyme and dream all night long. I dream so much I am exhausted from being "busy all night". I was sleeping a lot in the beginning but now I am the opposite

After a really bad herx esperience last week I cannot sleep at all. I am so wired up, every nerve in my body is twitching, fluttering and vibrating. Just the noise in my head keeps me up.

They say it is bart..I was never tested for it since I heard only 10% who really have it come back positive. I am not even cdc or igenex positive for lyme, yet I have the same symptoms as you.

I was told if you body needs to sleep then do so. As your abx kick this thing you willl have more waking hours. My saviour was methylcobalim injections that I give myself 3x a week. I regained energy like I havent had in a long time.

Methyl is better than b12 since it is the stonger portion of it. It is easy to inject, very thing needle and works wonders. My LLMD ordered them in prefilled needles from his compound pharmacy. I sent bill to insurance and they covered 80% of it.

Diagnosed with chronic neuro lyme 12/10 after 30 years of vertigo.2 tick bites in 3 yrs from upstate NY. Was on omincef for nine mths..zith and rifampin stopped.Remission~ All the pain and symptoms are back and I am not treating now with biaxin.
