I feel for you Shabbah, but it will get better with treatment...hang in there. God bless, I know it is horrible, as I suffer the same way. I do have many good days now though.

Shahbah,
So sorry you are suffering so much. I have had the red burning scalp. What has really helped with the pain was mixing some milk with yogurt or kefir, putting it on my scalp, then paper towels and a baseball cap on top.
The cold helps calm down the burning also.
I know that sounds silly, but the lactic acid in the milk helped calm down the infection. The other thing that helped was taking antiparasitic herbs. Hang in there, and try and keep moving forward, it does get better.

Shahbah, I'm so sorry you're hurting so much right now. When you're in the middle of pain, it is very hard. It seems like it will go on forever. That is not true. You will get through this.
Could you call your Doctor in the morning~maybe he would have some suggestions. In the meantime, it helps me to get my mind off it. Even by watching Carol Burnett/Tim Conway skits (or something else to laugh) on YouTube. That may sound off the wall, but, it helps to force myself not to think!
My legs are really burning/hurting now. As I pray for relief...I'll pray for you, too.

Yeast can cause scalp itching. Do you have that too?

One round of antiparasitic herbs is not enough!!! You have to stay on them. I took them for six mos until I saw results.
You can increase the parastroy to 3 each 2 x a day after the 3rd week. These parasites are very defensive and you have to really go after them full force because they have layed LOTS of eggs and larva as well.
Research and study everything you can on getting rid of them. Persistence is key. The herbs are also antifungal and antibacterial.
