I have heart symptoms now too. They state its a murmur and skipped beats. I was put on a beta blocker but some abx cause it to start up again.

I have not found one that stops the issue yet, just makes it worse so far. I would be interested too.

Any abx that works for lyme, works for the heart if the heart symptoms are caused by the lyme.

INteresting what you say, Lymetoo, about a "heart herx".

I had exactly that after taking bactrim. I had never been a heart patient before!!

Sometimes the heart still hurts. But here is what has helped me, quickly too (my LLMD said it would never respond this rapidly if it was genuine heart disease, fyi):

Hawthorne extract
Coenzyme Q10
Magnesium glycinate (or citrate, but glycinate is less laxative than the citrate)
Fish oils (Metagenics is very concentrated)
I don't do well with ginkgo but many people do.

Where hawthorne dilates the coronary artery and flushes the heart out with blood, ginkgo dilates the surface capillaries www.healthy.net

I had a prior chlamydia pneumonia infection which apparently still can kick up off/on, because the immune system has a hard time holding it down, said a doc to me. So when it dies off with abx therapy, it creates a secondary porphyria (not inherited, and not permanent) and that creates heart symptoms, in absence of heart disease.

Babesia can cause heart stuff too.

In my case, I am diagnosed with both infections (working on the c pneumonia first before tackling babesia) and the supplements above have really helped me a lot. I have to keep on them though or the symptoms return, so I am not cured. Clearing the infection will be the cure.

Best wishes, CI

Good lord! Makes me wonder if my experience really was/is a side effect. My god! Only time will tell.

These nasty "Medications" I hate them with a passion.

I am so grateful to the herbs. They carried me so far and so fast, with so few dramas along the way.

It was the abx that quite literally nearly killed me, and I am not kidding or exaggerating. I am so mad at these pharmaceutical companies!!

Well with time, I have faith that things will get better.

I hope the same can be true for your daughter, Luluymemom.

We will be thinking of you.

Best wishes, CI ps although I heard it is possible to kill off one bug and then change the terrain, and have something like a babesia infection step forward. Could that be the case with your daughter, Lulu? I don't know and can't possibly diagnose, no way, but only suggesting this is something you could possibly check into if you haven't already.

Heart isues are from viruses and bacteria.
Who ever have them it is advised to use IV for at least 3 months and also cover yeast viruses and coinfections during that time.

It is well known for brain and heart issues we have to take Rocephin IV that goes in combination with flagyl (tindamax)and galbllader support, magnesium minimum 600mg a day,co Q10 minimum 400mg a dayL-carnitine 300mg a day, alpha lipoic acid 400mg a day,D-ribose 30gr a day.

And if the symptoms are bad at the same time atack bart and babs so all coinfections.

Maradona, that is what some doctors would have us believe, but I personally know of someone who did the IV route for her Lyme symptoms and now has a pacemaker put in. She was in her late twenties.

CI, my daughter treated Babs with Mepron and Biaxin.. She used abx until her liver could take no more and she had no choice but to stop. In hindsight, I wish we would have done things differently. She was infected 7 weeks before starting treatment and treated for almost 7 months.

I started with Doxy (1 month), Zith (1 month, had heart palpitations for 2 weeks on this), now Amoxicillin and I haven't had bad palpiations since taking Amoxicillin. I think it was just working its way out of my system as this was my first and worst symptom
