Thinking of making an appointment. Quite a few of his published articles have to do with ocular involvement in infectious diseases -- TB, CMV, mycobacterium, antibiotic penetration of aqueous humor, etc.

Seems promising, and he's about 3 miles from where I live.

I feel like maybe this is someone who wouldn't look at me like I'm crazy for bringing up the Lyme, Ehrlichia etc.

Should I go for it? And spill about Lyme & Co? I usually don't mention it to docs who aren't LL.

I doubt it can hurt. He sounds promising. The best opthalmologists for Lyme patients would be LL, of course. I know of an excellent one on the east coast, but that is across the country from you.

I went to a neuro-opthalmologist who ran all his tests - I came back normal even though he had to anesthetize my eyes for me to be able to look at light.

My eye symptoms were floaters, light sensitivity, eye muscle pain and developing blurriness.

When I started drinking mangosteen juice, all eye symptoms ended within 24 hours! It's an anti-inflam antioxidant juice.

Lots of brands in stores and online. I do the Ultra and mango-xan ones. If you try it, go slowly and drink lots of water also.
