I've just started this medication and feel like my symptoms (sinus, feminine areas) gets worse an hour or so after I take this medication. Then it dissipates by the next dose. Could this actually be a herx to the yeast/mold die-off?
My ND says that I will be on this for 6-9 months, as mold/fungus is a greater issue for me right now than the Lyme itself and is preventing my body from going after the Lyme. If you've used this medication, did you have any reactions/concerns?

It is similar in action to Diflucan. Keep me posted on how you do with this. I think I've overused Diflucan and would like my dr to try the Sporanox.

Hi Sunnydays
I have never taken the med so I can't answer.
You could also ask your ND about:
Calendula flowers ("markedly anti-fungal" according to the world-ranking herbalist at www.healthy.net see materia medica)
Goldenseal
Grapefruit seed extract (always take in water)
Best wishes, CI ps you shouldn't do anything that the ND doesn't know about or approve. This is not medical advice or for self-treatment, only information to ask your ND about.
