yuck, caught another cold and now i've got sinus issues. he wanted to give me something else but i said i have biaxin and he said, "oh well take that twice a day for 14 days".

i took one, one measly pill, one itty bitty pill and almost went to the er. well ok, i didn't but you get the picture. i walked the floor all night, absolutely no sleep. i had double over mind rending, stomach pain. i felt like a hand grenade had gone off in my stomach. stupid me, took it was just a glass of milk and some applesauce.

now my stomach is killing me. can barely eat, even normal food.

how in the world am i going to continue this med? i don't have any other side effects except this excruciating stomach pain and some diahhrea.

so has anyone had to stop meds due to sever stomach pain?

I could not tolerate Biaxin. Within 1/2 hour of taking it, my pulse nearly doubled and I was wired. With the second evening dose, I could not sleep at all. It did not upset my stomach too badly (all antibiotics have chewed up my gut).
