I have begun noticing serious pain in my left side below my ribs that is really getting bad. I have read that infections and antibiotics can both lead to serious kidney problems. I am scared. I stopped taking antibiotics and even when I was taking them...I significatly lowered my dose.
Should I be worried? I might see my primary care doc to see what he thinks.

Sounds like the spleen. Kidney pain would be in the back.
Babs flare?

It is the back side of my back....behind the ribs.

Either way, your doctor should know about it.

Could be a stone. I would call the doc.
