As you can tell....
I'm not much on the "risk factor" game the medical community plays. My personal theory is naming risk factors is a way to have people change behaviors that some others don't like...

fff recent study can link Alzheimer to aluminium, mercury, lead, cpn, lyme, ebv...what else? the truth is no one knows, just like no one knows why we develop cancer nor how to cure it...

I worry about this. KNowing I had lyme in my brain will it come back to haunt me later in life. My paternal grandfather had alzheimers. My material grandfather had diabetes related dimensia. Not a fun way to go.

How do you know if the infection has gone to the brain? Or is that inevitable with chronic lyme?

Somebody posted something about 6 months ago that actually sounded like we would be SAFER from such things than the normal poplulation. But I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS!! I remember thinking, 'oh, that's good!'
(do I have Alzheimer's already? )
I try not to worry about it.
