I bleed very often & very heavy. It will pause for a couple of days & start again. The more i bleed the more out of it i feel. its like i cant get a break.. I just stopped taking the depo shot in Oct.. which i know can throw off hormones but the bleeding seems to be getting worse...
I was diagnosed with Bacterial vaginosis in the beginning of Feb before i found out i had lyme.. but since i started antibiotics it seems to have cleared up so i dont think its from that...
Is there something i can do to control the bleeding?

Have you talked with your Doctor?
. Have you tested your iron/Ferritin levels?
Hope you get relief soon.

You should see a gynecologist for an evaluation.
If your hormones are out of whack, there is very little that we can advise you to do. You need the knowledge and experience of a physician.
Women with heavy menstrual periods often become anemic.

I have a similar issue, I don't think mine is quite as severe as you described but it's almost constant, grrr...
My dr checked my hormone levels and I have almost none. She thinks itll clear with tx but said she'll keep an eye on it.
I hope you talk to your dr about it, not sure there's much you can do until you do that

No, not a symptom of gall bladder problems.
More likely it is because your hormones are out of whack.

Gyns have absolutely no clue about lyme so if you bring it up, he/she will look at you like you're crazy. Lyme can do all sorts of things to your period. My LLMD has me tracking when I get my period. I've had bouts of 6 weeks of bleeding and my left leg hurt miserably.
I did get to the Gyn to get this all checked out because there are so many other things that can mess with the cycle. Heavy and constant bleeding can also be cancer. This definitely needs to be ruled out. It is very common to have these symptoms and not have cancer though so don't be scared. There are medications that can regulate your cycle, and your gyn should help with that.
Good luck.

I had a problem with heavy bleeding aft my 4th child they performed uterine ablation on me and it was the best thing i ever did. they do it under anesthesia and they basically thin out the lining of the uterus if your a heavy bleeder. this will interfere with trying to get pregnant, it you haven't had children yet. Also a friend had fibroids that caused that problem and she had a procedure done that helped. so talk to the doctor, tell them its seriously interfereing with every day activities and see what options they have for you.
I can't remember if we are allowed to post links, if we are, great! If not, I am sorry and feel free to remove and PLEASE let me know and I will TRY really really hard to rememeber not to do so in the future!!
