So, I really need to do a round of diflucan to clear some yeast issues I'm having.
Drug checker says there is an interaction between these two meds with prolonged QT interval. I stopped the bactrim but is it ok to start the diflucan or should I wait a few days for the bactrim to completely clear my system?
The only other med I'm on is primaquine. I stopped both mepron and bactrim the day before yesterday.

There CAN be an interaction if you have heart rhythm problems. I have this issue and have to be very careful. Are arrhythmias part of your symptom complex? Does your heart skip or beat erractically at all? Are you prone to electrolyte imbalances/dehydration? If not, I would assume it to be safe. Call your pharmacist and they can better explain how it works.
