Was on Rocephin. Immune system got better, but I didn't feel any better. Plus, been on it 6 months so doc switched to Invanz. Which holy crapola, is making me nauseated, and my immune system is going back down, and drug is expensive.
So need ideas for IV med good for arthritis (its destroying the discs in my neck at an alarming rate...)

Try IV Clindamycin and/or oral Minocycline or doxycycline. These are all antibiotics used for arthritic symptoms.
They may or may not help, as it depends what infectious basis is causing your arthritis, but these are commonly-used drugs on www.roadback.org.Posts: 964 | From san diego | Registered: Oct 2009

What works for you will depend on what infection is causing your arthritis pain symptoms. For me, the most effective have been targeted bartonella drugs like Levaquin.
In my experience, supplements were not nearly enough to help stop the progression of severe joint pain and swelling. Antibiotics have helped me the most.
Keep trying until you find what works for you. Also, give the meds time to work. It can take several weeks before you see any positive improvements with a new treatment protocol.
