How often does the current doc get upset about it? Do I make an appointment and then go in and talk to my reg doc? What is the best way to do this?

History
I am on my 2nd Health care practitioner since March. My first NP wouldnt treat for lyme because my elisa came back neg. When I called another doc for a 2nd opinion, she dropped me.

I really dont want to be dropped by my new doc (he has been my childrens doc for 12 years) I dont want to hurt his feelings but after my current treatment ends, he feels like I will just need to live with my current symptoms, which are less than when I started treatment, as fibromyalgia.

I am calling a specialist now...
thanks

My first 4 doctors wouldn't listen and diagnosed with fibromyalgia among other things. One told me that I needed to stop calling and accept my condition. I was referred to a psycologist who told me I needed Adult Day Care.

You need to be tested by IGeneX Labs, Palo Alto, CA. 800-832-3200. or NJ Labs, New Brunswick, NJ 732-249-0148.

I ordered the tests and finally had the diagnosis. I go to a dr. in KS city and have gone from bedridden to getting my life back.

I wish you the best in your journey!

once my pcp said it was post lyme syndrome I knew it was time to move.....

I went to a well known LLMD and it has been a life saving move......I encourage you to do the same....yes it may lead to more finances...BUT it really is the only option to get a full and well educated picture about your condition......and a plan to aid your diagnosis and recovery...

good luck..........
