Strange coincidence that you posted this. Yesterday the vet diagnosed my horse with a heart murmur which sounds like what you describe. You should see a doctor.
There are other recorded heart sounds here as well.
If you can hear the murmur without a stethoscope it is very serious.

i'm under a cardiologist's care. he said i have an enlarged heart but otherwise i'm ok. i do take bp meds tho.
