Just took my daughter (19) to an ID doc. I was armed with my information, and ready to walk out if he was going to give me trouble about treating maria. I have to say, I was pleasantly shocked how he took her condition very seriously. He ordered a slew of tests, (some lyme ones I didn't understand but he explained were better tests then what her nero and md took) and tested her b-12 and other vit. levels, tested her for other ID's, and is doing a fasting sugar test. He also recommended a dermatologist for her psorasis, (she has it bad) and is NOT opposed to longer term treatment for her lyme, but first wants to get a full picture of her health. He's been dealing with Lyme for 19 years, his own son had it. He has ppl come into his office to hook up to the IV's, (cause their insurance won't cover at home treatment)
I was very happy. Now we wait for her test results and see what he recommends.
Thanks to everyone!

Gina Marie

He's not a LLMD. He did say in his experience, the 30 day IV treatment "usually" works, but he's knows that's not always the case. his son, he told me, suffered so bad from anxiety for several months, missing school, because of lyme. I didn't ask how long he was on meds. But I think he treats the 'whole body'. The lyme and other things going on with the body. he focuses on the immune system too.

I'm not recommending him yet..We'll see what he does once the tests comes back. But so far, he's very thorough and knowledgeable.
