I seen my Dr yesterday & he said i dont have to worry about relapsing when getting off rocephin(may 13th) because im going to follow up with orals.. Although i did not add a cyst buster with the IV Rocephin.. He said he might add it for the last week of iv rocephin (next week)

Will i continue to progress? I'm afraid of feeling how i felt before

I have no experience with IV but I do with orals. My experience is when I relapsed it was usually another infection emerging, so you need to make sure you are addressing everything.

You also need to change protocols when you reach a plateau and stop making progress. Your doctor will know how to recognize what is happening and what you need to continue to improve.

I have been on only oral abx for five months..omnicef steady, had two months of zithro and back on only omnicef till I see him next week again.

I have been feeling much better than dec when I started treatment. Even with just teh oral abx I have gained so much energy, less balance problems. I still have muscle and joint pain but only when I try to get up from a chair or crouching. My LLMD does not use cyst busters till then end of lyme treatment?

DR R.feels that most of the lyme needs to be attached so your body gets stronger before he attacks cysts or babesia. Omnicef DOES prevent lyme from duplicating, or forming into cysts that is why he continues it on a steady basis.

I also am afraid of my syptoms coming back again that I finally got rid of. I am praying he is right on his protocol after all his years treating this since it appears to be working.

Diagnosed with chronic neuro lyme 12/10 after 30 years of vertigo.2 tick bites in 3 yrs from upstate NY. Was on omincef for nine mths..zith and rifampin stopped.Remission~ All the pain and symptoms are back and I am not treating now with biaxin.
