I am soon going to get checked for cysts in my brain because of the terrible and never ending pressure eheadaches and weird sx that come with it... The idea of cysts in my brain would totally make sense (i have cysts in ovaries and maybe my system is screwed enough to have cysts in brain too). Now in case it it confrimed, how are brain cysts treated? do they veer shrink on their own? Is surgery inevitable? And if surgeyr is impossible and the cysts are causing debilitating sx, how are they treated? Thank yo for your help, I ma scared to death!!!

Perhaps you mean they are going to check you for lesions in the brain. In other words, for any brain abnormality.
That I have heard of.
Lyme causes various types of lesions. Good lyme treatment takes care of them. They don't do surgery on the brain for this.
When I got diagnosed with lyme, they did a brain scan on me. It showed 2 UBOs (unidentified bright objects) which are generally thought to be areas of hypoperfusion.
I was glad something showed up because I knew my brain was not right.
Once I got good lyme treatment, I got my normal brain back.
I completed my treatment 6 years ago and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life.
So, please don't worry about them wanting to do a scan of your brain. It is routine.

I have lesions on my brain, multiple small lesions all over. The neuro told me it is brain scarring from either MS, vasculitis, or lyme disease.
Since I do not show MS symtpoms, they are treating it as lyme and supposedly it goes away with lyme treatment. They found it through my mri done a few months ago and it made the clinical diagnos of neuro lyme since I am igenex negative with only a few bands positive.
They do not do anything for them? The abx will heal them, nor do the really affect me in any way. I did not know they were there at all.
Do not worry, truly.

I also have many signal intensities like TF where my brain showed brighter areas besides the white lesions.
I am still walking and talking, so dont panic at all.
