I am still struggling with yeast issues and am on Diflucan. I have such anxiety feeling but not anxiety, it is hard to explain, like I tremble inside but I don't feel anxious.
Anyway, I am taking PB8, is that one of the best or let me know what you are all taking, please.
Also, the doc gave me diflucan while still taking Minocycline. I would think I would have to go off abx for awhile but I guess not, any opinions? [confused]

I think the best is VSL#3 DS (double strength). This is available by prescription, so hopefully your insurance will cover at least part of it. Each packet contains 900 billion cultures.

PB8 is LOUSY. I blame it for NOT covering me well enough during treatment. NOW I'm paying bigtime for that mistake.

If you continue to take it, then take 10 or more a day.

Excellent probiotics:

VSL#3

Theralac

Whatever you take, take at least 100 CFU's per day. Wish someone had told me that 10 yrs ago!

Ultra Flora is good too! When you consider the CFU count, the VSL#3 is cheaper.

My digestion improved greatly after adding kefir to my diet, more so than any other probiotic. But since it isn't expensive, it doesn't seem too popular around here.

Kefir is good if you can handle dairy and if you can handle the added sugar content of the product. If I could take Kefir, I would STILL take a good probiotic.
