I'd like to start including essential oils to my Lyme treatment to kill bacteria.

Which are recommended?
How do you use them & how frequently?
Which brand (Young Living)?

I've been treating my Lyme infection for 1 year with antibotics & various supplements, after going undiagnosed for 1 year. I'm happy to report that I'm 80-90% better but I feel like I need some extra support to further my improvement. Hopefully, I can get that support through oils.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!
-K

I think this is a very good question. It triggered a memory that I had with a Lyme survivor that I spoke with last year. She used essential oils as part of her recovery. I am going to post 2 of the emails that she sent me. I am sure she wouldn't mind.

Start cleansing the body and get your body alkalized. Go on the net and find foods that are alkalizing. You need 4 to 1 alkalizing foods to acid foods. Watch what you eat. No sugar, no pop, no high fructose corn syrups in foods, MSG, take baths and not showers. Soaking in the bathtub is more therapeutic and add some fresh ground ginger to the bathwater.

I have steeped it in boiling water and then added it to the bathwater. Make the bathwater as hot as you can stand. Try to stay in it for 20 minutes.

Drink LOTS of water and eat foods that help purge the body. Often times illnesses can be caused by parasites so find a good body cleanse. You need to clean the body.

Eat lots of garlic and onions, hot tomato salsa, anything you can stand that is HOT.
Let me know how you are doing from time to time.

Know that our US Food and Drug Administration doesn't allow alternative medicinal products to list any uses for diagnosis, treatment, cure, or to prevent any disease.

I can only educate you on what I did to get well, but the decision is ultimately yours if you choose to use the oils. I guess I would have to say I am the messenger and you don't know me so I can understand you questioning the legitimacy of it. Doctors were not helping me, but I knew I had a sound mind and I was determined to find a better way.

I am a Christian and I say it was through prayer and a strong faith that got me to where I am today. I tried many other alternative things before I found this product source.

I want to point out that not all oils are alike. You can't go to a health food store or just any store or website thinking you can buy a lavender oil and it's pure lavender. You must know a very trusted source because some companies will say the oil is pure, but it is adulterated meaning a bottle can have a few drops of pure oil in it and the rest of the bottle is filled with fillers. And when you are going to take oils internally you have to know what's in the bottle.
Don't hesitate to ask me more questions. There were 2 oils I used when I had heart palpitations so bad. I thought my heart was going to blow right out of my chest at times. I rubbed Aroma Life and Ylang Ylang over my heart area and the bottom of each foot and within moments my heart was beating regular again.

Search on Lymenet on Farah.

Farah used to post here about her extensive treatment with essential oils.

I think i remember what i concocted as a vague and imperfect imitation of Farah's treatment.

I used 1 tsp olive oil as a carrier oil. You have to have a carrier oil---- the essential oils are too strong to use neat.

Then i added enough drops of 5 different oils to total 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp is about 40 drops. Farah says for Lyme the strenght of the killer oils should be 20-25% of the carrier oil, i thhink.

I think the oils i used were thyme oil (the strongest), peppermint, lemon, citronella, eucalyptus.

One weekend away i forgot my Malarone pills, and the Babesia (or Lyme???) flared up in my lower front ribs. They got sorer and sorer for 10 days. Finally i couldn't stand it and rubbed the above oils on the lower ribs.

Presto! It went away fast.
