I'm still new to this..My llmd started me on Zith with my doxy 3 wks ago..after about 5 days most of my symptoms had almost disapeared. I could sleep without meds., etc. That lasted about 2 wks., then became lightheaded, brain fog returned as well as many other symptoms. Is this a normal reaction to new med., has anyone else experienced this??? I had my hopes up that I was finally turning a corner and then boom. Unsure what to expect next. See llmd on 5-16, hopefully get some answers. Thanks for any input.

One step forward, two steps back is not unusual, IMHO. Factors probably include co-infections, herx, cycle of whatever you have..I have several times had immediate improvement on new meds, then a difficult patch, then continued improvement. Hope this helps until our experts come along.
