I only take 500 mg of Biaxin twice a day. I take Mepron and Biaxin daily and pulse Flagyl for 3 or 4 days each week.

I take 2000mg/day Biaxin along with 1 1/2 tsp mepron and added to that is ceftin as well.
The mepron takes some time (couple of weeks if memory serves) to build up in your system so pulsing that would be of no benefit.
The flagyl is tyically pulsed

i have been taking 500 mg of biaxin twice a day and 1 tsp of mepron for a couple months. i want to up them. i just started recently pulsing the two, typically 2-3 days on 4-5 days off.
should i pulse the flagyl on this schedule as well? or should i take flagyl in between the down times on the others?

Did the doc tell you to pulse the mepron and biaxin? I've never heard of pulsing mepron. As I said it takes a while to build up in your system.
I don't see how you could get the appropriate sustained levels of mepron if pulsed.
Doesn't mean it's right or wrong just never heard of it. Anyone else ever pulse mepron?
