The only thing that has helped my tooth and facial pain is spending time in the warm sun. I know it sounds crazy but whenever I'm in the sun the pain is much less. Last weekend I just sat outside on my deck for hours and my teeth/face felt great!

This is my worst symptom by far. Tooth pain is unbearable!

Vitamin D deficiency may contribute to this.

Also, I have found that clove oil helps to dull the Lyme-related tooth/gum pain. It burns at first, but then the pain disappears. Dentists used to use clove oil before novocain existed for dental work.

Detoxing via gums and teeth is ongoing and will be happening for years if you have had amalgams and dental problems caused by the pathogens.

I have a bottle of Biopure's Silver and a little bit splashing around and swallowing works great. Read up on that silver, it has some great benefits. Remember, more is not better. I hope you try it - it works.

Take care.

I have all my amalgams out and biocompatible fillings in, yet still have oral pain. I take really good care of my teeth and diet, and still have decay. Blood sugar balance tests perfect and mid-range every time. I think that the infection itself can cause this oral pain/decay and recently saw a list of lyme symptoms confirming this fact. IT makes sense, would contribute to auto-immune attack.

I agree with the post above about clove oil. Use very dilute, it' s strong.

The Weleda Pink Toothpaste or else their mouthwash contains astringent herbs, which firm up swollen gum tissues and help to contract them so they better grip the roots of the teeth. And thereby protect them.

One more item in your toolbox to try out.

I disagree with dental school teachings that vitamin C erodes teeth. They are misinformed. Vitamin C is required for calcium metabolism. If you bathed your teeth every single day in undiluted lemon juice then maybe it could indeed wear down enamel. But lemon water? I would highly doubt it. In fact there is a glaring oversight here, lemon water will help to disinfect your mouth.

The things that make you think "duh!" Sorry...in a "Mood" right now....

I am not a doctor or a dentist, check this out with your doctor to verify it as true or false.

Best wishes, CI

Unknown whether this will help, but I have done oil swishing in my mouth and it seems to take down gum pain - I think it's called oil pulling, and it's an ayurvedic remedy.

It's really simple! Just swish a little bit of sesame or sunflower oil around in your mouth so that it covers all the gum area for about 20 minutes, then spit it out. It worked right away for me.

Go to your local CVS or Walgreen's, Meijer's, etc (call first) ask them if they have the Red Cross Toothache with natural Eugenol (clove oil). Costs about $7.00. Us this it stings at first but it will completely take away any tooth pain for hours within minuets.
