I am hoping to put forth a guide, information outline, and strategy for folks to understand and integrate alternative health care into their lives. It is particularly aimed at self empowerment, but a discussion of the appropriateness of seeking proffessional help will be clearly laid out as well. Perhaps I will post the whole outline later, but right now I am focusing on a couple of specific aspects. Summaries of nutraceuticals, herbs etc in a manner that gives the alternative position, but also explains any controversies that exist including conventional viewpoints. Second some type of index of the manufacturers of supplements with some discussion of their claims involving purity potency, etc. I found Ray Sahlien has some stuff on summaries of supplements but of course it has his products in the midst of them

A note to the moderators. Even though there is a refrence here to community activism, I think the project could end up in being a medical resource, so I hope that the thread can remain here.
