IMO/E candidas goes hand in hand with leaky gut.
This is my protocol;
Essential Digestive Enzymes Protazyme - Has HCI in it (amoung other things good for L.G.) as I also have low stomach acid. Marshmallow Root Slippery Elm High Quality Probiotic - 100 Billion per day
Symptoms that improved are; less food allergies and flushing during eating. Less toxic feeling and general overall increase in energy. Digestion seems to be working much better.

desert, how does one test for low stomach acid? is there a "test" or do you just figure it based on HCL helping your Sx?

I agree. I also think that candida causes a more severe gluten intolerance, causing bloating, cramping, etc.
I could tolerate gluten just fine before my yeast issues.

I was told on here about the following test. I think it was Six who gave me the link. Here it is.
I did the test and it took me a while to burp. 12 minutes I think? Anyway, I started taking betaine HCL in the beginning of my meals and it has helped.
