So far i've been doing good on only one zith a day.. i actually take it at night before goin to bed.. I'm not sure if im doing much with just 250mg a day but i do know for sum reason im not feelin that out of it... Do u think even tho its not much is it still helping?
Still not sure if i have bart.. But i kno i have neuro lyme.. is this dosage enough to pass BBB?

Hey, if you are making improvement, it's working! I'm working up to 250 mg. of azith, presently on 3/4 of a pill because I'm very sensitive.
My doc wants me on 250mg BID. I don't know if I'll get there, but the fact you are tolerating 250 mg bodes well.
Also, you should stay up an hour after taking the pill to avoid esophagal and stomach irritation.

I took the same dose, 250 mg. qd x 60 days. I tolerated it pretty well. I started to notice more anxiety toward the end. I had ear ringing but quite frankly I had it even before starting the med so hard to say if the medication made it worse. My MD seems to prefer a more conservative approach, not over-prescribe ABX...I guess it remains to be seen if this approach works.
