Question: can taking Diflucan and Raw Garlic for candida/yeast issues cause dry mouth, coated/spotted tongue, and other symptoms of candida itself?
I've only been on diflucan for 5 days (8 day course) and I just started adding raw cut up cloves of garlic (swallowing with water).
Usually Diflucan works fast for me but this time it doesn't seem to be making me feel better. Perhaps i'm not getting enough water to flush all the dead/dying stuff out?
I had a pap done last week and the doctor said that i was VERY dry. my mouth and tongue is very dry too but i have discharge and I drink a lot of water (about 100 oz a day).
I should also mention I'm up to 4 drops 2x per day of A-BAB for babesia. Perhaps this is what's making me feel funky?
Any pointers on what else I can do to get these sugar cravings under control? It's a week before my period too
I used to be severely bi-polarish a week before my period, that symptom subsided until this month. I'm not crazy or anything, just overall a little overwhelmed. Working 30 hours at work and having a hard time figuring out what I want to do with my life. Almost 27 years old and living at home with parents, it's time for me to move south again and I've been having anxiety over how I will be able to afford living on my own again.
Kind of off the topic of candida...but that's the gist of whats going on in my brain/body. Any suggestions on how I can get my sugar cravings back under control, and quickly, would be great.
I'm trying to do the diet but it seems a little harsh for me at times considering i'm already underweight (113 and 5'8")

Continuing to treat the candida and following the diet strictly will help diminish the cravings. It could take months if you have yeast really bad.
The more strict I am on the diet, the fewer the cravings.
A-bab could be causing the dryness.

Are you urinating a lot too? I usually have the die off exactly 2 weeks in starting meds. I have yeast and on 400mg a day and still eat bread because like you, I am not eating. Not much. I have read so much about this and food is not the cause, it is the antibiotics. Not that I am eating sugar because I am not. I am just so underweight and weak and carbs give you energy. The yeast is so hard to get rid of especially when we need these harsh antibiotics. I believe it is in my throat, esphoguas, intestines (they got slggish all of the sudden)So I take a ton of supplements and good probiotics. The VSL is great, I got it from my doctor. Otherwise, I still feel awful but we yeast sufferers have totalk and stick together, lol keep in touch. kerry

oh and I forgot to say, I am so dry...also that is from the yeast, dry mouth and skin, I am constantly putting chapstick and lotion on. I drink aloe vera once a day and apple cider vinegar from vitacost.

yea i haven't had bread in forever. meat and veggies and a baked apple or pear for breakfast. To keep weight on i try to have good fats like avocados and "sunbutter" (sunflower seed butter).
I'm not on antibiotics either. I was on them before I went on vacation, and while on vacation i swayed quite a bit from my regular diet. Hence why I'm having such yeast issues now.
Guess it's just time to get strict again about my diet.
