My lyme doctor wants me to do i/v therapy, probably rocephin, I was wondering how many of you have gone down the road of i/v and how many would say it is successful? I have been on oral med's off and on for five years. I have alot of neuro lyme symptoms, dizziness, numbness being the main two problems. I am extremely scared to do i/v and have noticed that alot of people still end up on orals again. also, do you think bicillan shots are just as good. thanks Diana

Every one is different but if you have been doing orals for five years and have neuro symptoms than IV is probably the thing to try. Are you oral does high enough and the right combos, along with a cyst buster. Has you doctor changed the combos and have you treated any co-infections?
Bicillian is a good in between way better than orals but not not as effective as IV. Again, every one responses differently.
What have you tried in five years that you still have the neuro symptoms. Is your LLMD looking at thryoid, adrenals, candida, heavy metals, viruses and all the other things that come into play?
Are you on nutritional supplements, probiotics and a yeast free diet?
