i would like to hear some advices because i want to start weight lifting again,, slow but steady.. i already lifted weights a few times in my life.. but last year i had to stop because i was too weak because of my babesia therapy. now i'm on doxy+tavanic+ bicillin(soon) and wanted to ask, if i have to be afraid of some joint or tendon ruptures/damage?! im on week 6 of tavanic and have no inflammation of my tendons.. not a little bit, everything feels normal, just my shoulders are cracking a little bit more than usual.
is it to dangerous to lift weights while on tavanic??

When I was on Levaquin, I used machines instead of free weights because it was a more protected movement (this was before I did pilates). I know men discount pilates, but pilates on the reformer is also a protected movement. Pilates includes moderate strength training along with some stretching, so fits what Dr. B recommends for Lyme patients.
I would ask your doctor what he recommends just to be safe.
