My jaw hurts alot and sometimes when i open and close it, it makes a squeaky wooshing noise sort of like your letting air out of a balloon slowly. and if i eat something sweet my jaw will get a sharp pain sometimes. does anyone have any of these symptoms and could they all be related to lyme? have they gotten better for any of you since treatment?

It's your TMJ joint. You do need reg. treatment with a knowledgeable dentist on TMD disorders.
Lyme loves joints, and the TMJ is one of them.
Things to do at home:
Do not eat sticky chewy foods... think of your jaw as a sprained ankle... use it softly.
Sleep on your back, as sleeping on your side only pushes it towards one side and torques it all night.
Yawn with your chin to your chest... your mouth will not open as far.
Dentists will make you a splint to wear.
If you do not want to do that route.. just as I stated... think of it as a sprain.. Advil to keep the inflamation down, and use it on soft foods.
In time, with lyme in this joint, it will come and go. But if you have other issues with the lyme, say grinding your teeth, a bad bite, and you eat steak every night... then you do need to change something.
I work in the dental field... these hints would cost you $ if you went into an office... Take them wisely with you and change lifestyle if you want to be in control of some of this (lyme we can't really!)

Oh yeah! Mine actually gets stuck when Im brushing my teeth and cracks back into place. REALLY Annoying. For me I think it is from Babesia. It got much worse and steady when I began Mepron.
Can't wait for it to go away. Im sure it will in time when the inflammation goes away.
