OK, so I've tried Cumanda a few times at 5, 10, and 15 drops per serving. At these dosages it was very powerful but the effect wore off. Today I decided to take it at 30 drops per serving (which actually isn't "mega" since its the suggested dose on the bottle).
Anyway, WOW - I had a pretty good herx then felt really good!
Anyone else notice high dosing of nutramedix products to be beneficial (or harmful?)

I remember someone here was doing a couple bottles a day for a bit. But that was the old formula. He was doing something like 50 drops per dose - it's been a while so I don't remember exactly but the dose was very very large.

My herx on 30 drop dosages is effective. It seems to be working. At lower dosages it seemed too wimpy. But I've read some people say that with herbals like Cumanda, they just keep herxing and herxing and don't get better. Any thoughts on this?

Yeah, I think I did 20 drops twice daily. I had my worst herxes on cumanda and didn't get any better.

CherylSue, interesting that you had your worst herxes but no improvement on Cumanda. If you don't mind me asking - what did get you the best improvement?

My doctor has me on a combination of Samento, Banderol and Cumanda. Then, I was told by someone and I also read somewhere that one should use the Samento for a certain number of days (once up to max dose) and then take the banderol for a number of days, then go back to the Samento. I take the Cumanda daily. I am only up to six drops, twice per day.
I have not worked up to my therapeutic doses, but I will be soon. My doctor said, "increase by one drop per day until herx, then either stay there (or even step back by one or two). I will let you know what happens. I am kind of worried and scared, because I have only had mild herxing so far.
I take the Cumanda with the Samento and with the Banderol, so would not know if the Cumanda alone would have the same effect on me.
I do know I have heard from quite a few people that once they herx from the Samento and Banderol they begin to feel better. Then possibly smaller herxes as the Lyme cycles and the toxins get all cleared out.

Update: after a few days of doing one dose per day of 30 drops of Cumanda, I can say this has been one of the most helpful herbs/doses I've ever used ( and I've used a ton of stuff).
The herx was brutal but I'm far enough in my recovery that I have a hard time getting anything to make me herx. And since I have noticed that my improvement is in direct correlation to how much I herx, finding the "biggest" herx possible is the right thing for me (within reason and not damaging myself).
What's interesting is that the detox which helped most with the recent herx was amino acids. Dr. K has said that amino acids are primary for detoxing neurotoxins, and I found this to be true in the midst of a wicked Cumanda herx. All the other detox wasn't touching it. It makes sense. If the detox building blocks aren't there - amino acids - then you can do all the cleansing you want and nothing will happen. I have about 5 different amino acid formulations I got off Iherb and I take them all, and wow did they help this time - within about 30 minutes.
Anyway, will keep everyone updated. This stuff is so helpful (cumanda) I can't imagine stopping it any time soon. Someone told me they emailed the company and they said some people take half a bottle per day and don't have side effects, so I'm going to keep upping my dose if the herx wears off. I want to get the maximum mileage out of this amazing stuff.
What else is interesting - google the primary ingredient in Cumanda - it is virtually unheard of and unwritten about. How the heck did Nutramedix discover its use?

What aminos are working for you with neuro herx's?
L-Arginine is in most of the amino acid combinations. Is that okay and is that the same as arginine? Dr. C or Dr. F recently stated that arginine not glutin was the issue with eating grains.
Any relation here that I should be concerned about? Increasing aminos to reduce neuro issues seems to work when I am having a bad day.
All the Best, MattH

This is great information for me, since Banderol and Cumanda are the only Nutramedix naturals that my doctor wanted me to begin with.
I actually ordered the Samento by mistake, lol, then called her and she said go for it.
I was taking all three at once, but someone told me to (and I have since read about) alternate the Banderol and the Samento, once I get up to my therapeutic (sp?) dose. I am only up to 13 drops per day, soon to be 14 (starting tonight). I was keeping my intake very low, due to having to work FT. I will be on vacation soon, so I am starting to ramp up, and since this is my first line of treatment, I am a little scared as to what will happen.
However, your post is very encouraging, in that it really sounds as if it will be worth it once I get through "the worst of it."
On another note, I don't know how anyone can afford 1/2 bottle per day! "Rich person's disease," for sure!

Matt, here are the amino's I'm using. I'm just taking a shotgun approach, no logic really, except I am somewhat familiar with the amino's needed to make glutathione in the body: (all bought from iherb)
