Needless to say, I'm going to try to get this child in to my LLMD.
THe lyme test, as I figured, is "negative." No info on bands or anything, just the <= .90 range given on the LYMEGX test from Quest labs.
But what really has me all kinds of upset is that on his CBC, there are all kinds of flags on the tests, but they called and told me everything came back normal.
I realize that his asthma/allergies may be throwing some of the tests, but I want explanations of what the tests are, what they measure, and why they're high/low/whatever.
Yeah, I know I'm being paranoid psycho mom, but who can blame me?

I couldn't get any info on any of my labs other than that they were "normal".
My doctor laughed at me when I asked her to tell me which tests they were running, as if I were too stupid to understand. Then she said "Just some tests that will help us rule out some stuff".
Gee, thanks!

I always get copies of the lab reports. It is your right. Then you don't have to hassle with them about telling you what is what.
