Just found out that I am getting a Power Line installed next week. Know nothing about these. Does anyone have any experience with these?

There are "power" PICCs and ports. The advantage of having a "power" picc or port is that if you need a CT or MRI they can use the line to inject contrast media. Non-power devices cannot tolerate the higher pressure injections.
When you have the device placed your nurse will teach you how to care for it and infuse your medicines. They will also arrange for a nurse to come to your house to change the dressings once weekly.

Dont think I will be getting MRIs or CTs so I wonder why the Power Line?

Why, because apparently that is the preferred product of your local surgeons, interventional radiologists, oncologists, and infusion nurses.
If you have a PICC it's kinda nice to have the option to use it for all types of infusions. That's probably why the power PICCs are so popular.
Bard is a big name brand, they are well known for their quality products. No matter what type of PICC or port you end up getting it will work well for your daily antibiotic infusions.

Here is the Bard website if you want to look at some of the different products and read more about them.
When you have your infusion device placed you will be given specific information on how best to care for that product. Then the nurses will come to your house to instruct you on daily care, infusions, and dressing changes. You are not expected to learn this stuff on your own. They will help you.
