i live in florida and i was bitten in arkansas 3 weeks ago. does anyone know of any other cases from the state?
i am unsure about whether my bite and rash are from a tick with lyme.. i searched pictures of others "bullseye" rashes and mine is a little different..
i didnt see a tick in this location but i found others and removed them. i saw the bite there after i found the others and i assumed it was a mosquito bite. when i got home from vacation it started to itch and i scratched it accidently a few times and it got bigger. then a few days later it slowly started getting other little bumps around it, and now the little bumps are spreading and it looks almost like it is circling the bite.
i have a picture of it.
im currently awaiting a refferral to a doctor, and until then i am just searching for answers and praying this isnt what i have.

TONS of Lyme in Arkansas!! but drs there have not figured that out. Most in FL haven't figured out that it's in FL either.

There are more rash pics here:

I'm glad you took a picture of the rash. Put a ruler or coin next to it. An expanding circular rash indicates that it is a Lyme rash.

If possible, put your face in the pic also.. you may need this for proof later.

If you will post in Seeking a Doctor, we can lead you to a dr in FL who will help you.

Right now, go to a walk-in clinic or to your doctor and get some antibiotics....ASAP!

I was living in Arkansas when I most likely contracted Lyme. I think it is something to take seriously.

Lyme is everywhere! It is the fastest spreading infectious disease in the United States!

I agree with Lymetoo, go somewhere immediately (ER, walk-in) and show them your rash, etc., so you can get some Doxycycline!! Three weeks is too long without treatment! You may need an LLMD in case symptoms start (or have they already?) so I would also post in Seeking a Doctor to have one on reserve. You do not want to mess with this. There are several other infections that travel with the tick and they are often worse than the Lyme if you ask me.

I'm glad you came here. Please fight for your health. No one else will.
