Really need some advice here. Been with this LD since April. Got the dx.. was given a combo to try.. one drug did not work we stopped that combo. Never went back until May.. due to hectic life. Was given zith. It's ok agrees with me.. but I'm on a benzo and I read that can mess with your heart?? Why did my LD not tell me this? I also do not agree with what he wants me to add to the Zith. I need to some how get my point across that I'm sensitve to meds.. and do not wish to abuse my body even further. Like why can't I do 250 of zith instead of 500? What else can be added that's a more natural alternative for Bartonella?? I have so many questions and want to get the right treatement.. so that I feel comfortable and safe.. help please!!

We all feel cautious and scared when first begin treatment.

What do you mean by one drug did not work - did you have a reaction?

Zithromax needs to be taken at a higher dose. I was taking 6000 mg., and had no reaction. Good lyme treatment is at high doses, with multiple antibiotics, so that you can kill the bugs.

The key is to go slow, add one medication or supplement at a time, and to work with a good doctor who is an experienced LLMD.

Do you have a good LLMD that you trust? If so, follow their guidance, and you will get better.
