after going to the doctor for my rash i was given 20 doxycycline and given a blood test. i was wondering if 20 pills in ten days is enough to fight the infection and get rid of it comepletely, or if i should ask for more?

also i was wondering about accuracy of blood tests.. do you think anything will show up?

[3 1/2 weeks ago i was bitten, started meds 2 days ago.]
i just really want to make sure i do this right.

Most testing is not valid until you've had Lyme for awhile .. like 6 wks.. and if he did the ELISA it can come back falsely negative.

What is the mg of the doxy per day?? I would want 400mg a day for 6 wks to kill out the Lyme.

you have a bullseye rash?? Then you have Lyme .. the rash is diagnostic of Lyme
