This has happened to me twice in the past two days.

All of a sudden, with no clear cause, I feel deep, intense pain on the soft inside part of a joint (one was on the palm of my hand, by indx finger joint).

When I look at it, swelling and redness. Clear swelling - if I hold it at an angle, I can see a clear bump/lump.

The pain lasted a while ( both times it was nighttime and I went to bed soon after), and the next morning the pain was gone and the swelling was mostly better.

What the....

I'm on the Dr K anti-parasitic protocol and was just finishing Albenza. Also, 6 days before, I had done ozone injections for jawbone cavitations.

I have never experienced that before. Any ideas?

This was the first symptom I had that made me see a doctor. My joints do this sometimes lasting a day, the longest lasted 10 months. Before I had my Lyme diagnosis, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease similar to rheumatoid arthritis. I now know it was ultimately caused by Lyme, but I do not know if I have the autoimmune disease as well. It is getting better with Lyme treatment.

Thank you for responding. It was an unusual/scary symptom for me. I hope you continue to get better.
