I'll try to make my long story short and sweet:

Cardiac symptoms have always been front and center. PVC's, cramping, tightness, tingling, shortness of breath, pronounced beats, throbbing in neck and on and on. These symptoms presented within the first 3 months of my illness.

Saw a cardiologist immediately, always told me I was fine. He never could catch anything during the tests, even though I told him that 90% of my abnormal activity was in the evening/nighttime hours and not always every day.

I was told it was stress/anxiety/hormones more times than I can count. What 29/30 year old woman has heart problems, right?

Moved out-of-state. Had an awful night last year and went to the ER with the EXACT same symptoms I had been experiencing for almost 2 years. They couldn't get my heart rhythm under control and transferred me to a larger hospital via ambulance. Meds didn't work. Eventually it evened out.

Told I have a serious electrical condition, untreated, it could cause death. Beta blockers never worked. Try a new one, no luck at all.

End up having a cardiac ablation this past September and for the most part, daily cardiac symptoms are gone! Have also started treating for lyme at this point and am suffering in many, many other ways.

Switch lyme docs for insurance/financial/travel reasons. Doing well with new llmd, handling most meds, feel like there is a possibility that I might get better, eventually. No more impending doom.

Doxy was switched out to the Zith for the summer months. O.M.G. Thought I was going to die after about 3 weeks. So, unable to tolerate any more neurological issues, I stopped taking all meds. Thought I'd give myself a break. Still felt awful for about 8 days after I stopped taking the meds but the fog/pain/neuro issues slowly lifted.

I felt almost normal! Started exercising and I felt happy and positive. Felt like I turned a corner! This lasted for about 7-10 days.

Then this past Friday, I sat down with a book, I had a sharp pop in my chest area and I went down hill. Every cardiac symptom I have ever experienced and more. It was as if I had never had the ablation. I would have been in the ER if I could have gotten myself there. This lasted from about 3:30 p.m. until 4 a.m., on and off. Felt awful on Saturday morning but no more palps, just lots of cramping. Had some more palps yesterday but they weren't continuous as they were on Friday. Feel ok today.

Do you think this is coincidence or do you think it's because I have been off all antibiotics for 3 weeks? I was instructed to go back on my combo early last week but because I was feeling so good, I decided to wait. Perhaps that was a mistake [Frown]

What is going on? Cardiologists, GP, electrophysiologist say not lyme. LLMD #1 says lyme, then decided it wasn't because it appeared that the ablation had worked. LLMD says it could be lyme. I'm so frustrated!

Any ideas? And sorry, this wasn't quite as short as I had intended! I guess I just want/need to know whether my cardiac issues are lyme related or not and no one can tell me [Frown]

I'm 31. I have 4 young children. And I can't imagine leaving them any time soon.

Sounds like since your symptoms returned after 10 days, and were more pronounced on zith-could be bartonella.

I had a lot of heart issues from bart-went away with treatment.

Maybe you could start low and slow with a-bart, then when the load is down switch to rifampin or back to zith.
