Just one band is reactive. Sent email to husbands LLMD for thoughts, but would love to hear what you guys think. Symptoms? High TSH, sporadic numbness in fingers, high cholestoral, heart palpitations, arthritis, no short term memory. I could go on but you get the picture. Any thoughts? Should i pursue more testing?

I'ld say Lyme. I had IGM 23kb come up positive within 30 days of tick bite on 05, and again on a re-test in 09 with my PCP. PCP said I was treated and cured. Had another test this past spring with my LLMD, and same band present again. Band 23 is unique to Lyme, and can't be a little bit pregnent.
Maybe get a CD-57 from Labcorp in the meantime. If its less than 60 you have a strong case.

My doc treated me with only a positive 23 band. I had done the WB with Quest through my PCP, but the LLMD I saw after my doc told me I didn't have lyme, told me to save my money on an Igenex test since 23 was specific to lyme and I had symptoms.
I would just make an appt with an LLMD.

I had a band 23 from a crap lab. That's what started me on this whole journey to see a llmd. He tested me through igenex blot. While not a CDC positive more bands did show up. My Lyme was a positive thru pcr igenex southern dot blot. Your best best find a doc who knows all about Lyme and it's relatives.

No word from LLMD as of yet. Told my husband who is currently being treated. He seemed angry at first. I have been taking care of him for 7 months so I feel like a little sympothy was justified. Not sure when or if I will see doc.

Maybe he just doesn't want to see you sick? I'm currently waiting on test results for my son and I think if I do find out he tests positive, I will have some mixed emotions, one of them being anger. I don't want to see him suffer. It hurts when someone you care about comes down with this disease.
You really should see the doc as you don't want the disease to progress. If that is not feasible at this point, then maybe try some supplements to help with symptoms and doing some more natural therapies or herbs to help boost your immune system.

Thanks philly78. I have always been the backbone of the family. So this has been a real shocker. Even though I knew something wasn't right. I will get treatment and be the same strong person that my family has always known. Lyme will not be my downfall.
