Does anyone notice symptom flares in their kids when they have loose teeth?

My son was doing great then had a loose tooth (still does - hasn't come out yet) and 2 dental appointments within a week.

(One orthodontist and one regular dentist for cleaning).

I'm seeing lots of old symptoms again that have been around for 3 weeks now.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks for any thoughts. [Frown]

Thanks Carol. I have thought about that too, but didn't know if others have seen a flare in symptoms that lasted this long?

He did start swimming around that time as well and I took him to our GP to see if he had a sinus infection and was told nothing was red, just swollen.

Thanks for any additional input.

My DS7 goes berserk EVERY time he has a loose tooth. He gets moody, aggressive, agitated, etc. Last year he had a cavity filled and afterwards ran a high fever and shrieked repeatedly for 6 hours until he lost his voice (and I lost my mind).

I think he has lyme and bart, but we're waiting to see the LLMD in 2 weeks for testing. I'm positive for lyme (CDC and IgeneX), but didn't test for any coinfections yet. I'm not sick, just tested myself to try to figure out what is going on with DS. He also has PANDAS - chronically elevated strep titres, CamK 176, and high anti-neuronal anti-dopamine 1.
