Has anyone tried Dr. B's recommendation of Flex Creme? I have awful neck pain that triggers severe headaches and migraines. I have been looking for anything to curb the problem while my doctor "eliminate other possibilities." She doesn't want to put me on antibiotics after I was on them while I was in my teens for 7 straight years (which I understand, she wants to be sure of what she's dealing with, but I think just a trial period of zithromax wouldn't have done any more harm to see if I had any response, but I digress).
OTC doesn't put a dent in the problem unless I recognize it very quickly. And my prescription pain meds aren't really putting a dent in it. The only thing that kind of helps sometimes in magnesium, but it's already reeking havoc on my stomach.
So I'm curious if anyone would recommend Flex Creme, or if there's anything else that has worked.

My lyme doctor used/uses it and told me it really works for him. He recommended it to me, but I never had any need for it.
I think you should definitely try it on your neck.
He said to put it on thick.

For heaven's sake, you need to see a real Lyme Literate doctor ASAP!! I totally understand the concern about antibiotics, given your history. However, Chronic Lyme unchecked is FAR worse than antibiotics. ANd you can treat for CAndida and take probiotics.
When I expressed that concern to my then LLMD, who is probably the top one in the country, he said that his patients were far sicker with Lyme than they were from Candida. And, he said, you can treat Candida. I realized that he was right.
If Flex Cream is the one I"m thinking of (not sure), it did nothing for me. Which doesn't mean it won't help you.
I have had decades of horrific migraines and neck and back pain, etc. And the ONLY thing that has really helped has been to see the best LLMD's and get antibiotics and other meds to treat the infections. And believe me, I have tried everything. Sure, some other things helped a tiny bit very temporarily. But that was it.
