My primary care doc wants to test me for parasites - the "O&P" (ova and parasite) test. Three different samples over three days.
I was wondering how accurate the testing is through Quest/Labcorp? Does anyone know what parasites they test for, or do they catch anything that moves?
If I have parasites, is there anything I can do to 'flush' the little buggers out of hiding for the test?
thx, racer

Mine did show I had an overgrowth of Citrobacter and Klebsiella, so we treated those bacteria.

That's for sure! If you have hidden lung worm - the tests won't find it. They are in the lungs.
It's probably easier & cheaper to "provoke a response" by taking the herbs or drugs. If the drugs or herbs make you sick - you probably have a parasite issue.
