Hello everyone,
I was wondering how many people had pretty intense itching (feels deep inside tissues, not just on surface on skin) during a herx? I am on IV Rocephin (pulsing 4 days on/3 days off) and have been on the it for about 4 weeks. I took Ceftin by mouth last year, and had this same time of itching. If it is a herx only, I want to try to continue the IV rocephin as my other neuro sxs are better, but was questioning herx or allergic reaction? Seems to me if I was allergic I would have known right off, now almost 4 weeks later. Also, any tips on relieving herx, I'm drinking lemon water and use a benadryl at night. Thanks, hope everyone is on the mend!

I have had sever itching, and the feeling of being bitten. I had it the most while I was taking IM Bicillin. Some will say it is yeast. Some will say it is Bart, Lyme, etc. It could also be a reaction to the meds. less of an allergy, and just a side effect. There are other drugs that make people itch, so it's a possibilty...but of course I am no doctor.
