not really much that I know of, wish I could help...
The spleen area pain was reduced by laying down and stretching my arms over my head... seemed to allow the gas to flow past that area..

If I dry brush prior to going into my IR then my skin does not get itcy..HAve you tried dry brushing first? It's good to get the skin pores open before going in.
I have never gotten the stinging thing though.

I learned to shower off right after doing the FIR, to wash away toxins on the skin, and that stopped the itching for me.

Yes, I've had prickly itching sensations for years before diagnosis. Then when I started treatment, I herxed and had itching from HELL. COuld not take even a warm shower, cool tepid water only, and NO SOAP. No brisk drying off or the itching would be unbearable. Episodes were so bad I had to put ice packs on my torso. Ice does work. I believe borrelia dying off in the skin causes the itching. It is mostly gone now, altho 2 days ago I had a mild episode. Sometimes I'll get it only in my hands.
-------------------- Sick since at least age 6, now 67. Decades of misdiagnosis. Numerous arthritic, neuro, psych, vision, cardiac symptoms. Been treating for 7 years, incl 8 mos on IV. Bart was missed so now treating that. Posts: 765 | From nw ct | Registered: Sep 2008
