I'm very concerned about my decrease in urination.

Does anybody know how to help my kidneys to impruve urination and functioning .

I urinated in the morning very litle and color is orange -red.I' on malarone azithromycin 500mg and minocycline ,choloid silver and lauricidin.

Should I stop everything or is there any remedy to help with this problem .

Is there any treatment that will help to beat lyme and Coinfections without damaging my body anymore.

I was with a big hope to beat this left just with couple symptoms, and now depresed and with no hope to win this.

I think whatever is this infection is hiding in my skin of extremities dont see way to beat this.

Need advice please.

Are your kidney tests normal? I would ask to get them tested if you haven't already. I know my urine is dark when I have Babesia issues and that is what you are treating. Dark urine is a symptom of Babesia.

To not become dehydrated you need water with salt!

I am in your position with antibiotics, I cannot tolerate them and want to look to alternative methods mixed in. You can try to add in A-bab with your babesia treatment. I have been depressed to no end the last week or so because of the med issues. I just want to be done with this and move on but cant tolerate the meds. I know how frustrated you feel. I hope you can find what works for you.

Also, check your meds to make sure this isn't a side effect.

Have you talked with your doctor about this? If not, you should do so ASAP.

Maybe you are sweating more than you realize at night. That could easily make you dehydrated in the morning.

For some reason I am able to drink more and seem to keep well hydrated if I drink ice water. The ice makes a difference. I have a harder time drinking enough water if it is room temperature. Sounds silly, I know, but it works for me.

Another thought, my acupuncture doctor advised me to eat less meat (animal muscle). He says it stresses the kidneys. I am trying to be more mindful of this.

Wow. Someone posted with the same problem I have. Can't believe it. I've been wondering and posting, asking anyone if they have this problem too.

I have found this to be the most infuriating and frustrating thing in the world, and I have also discovered that it is a medication side effect.

My children and husband don't have this with their treatment using the same meds, but I do. It developed slowly, and became a huge problem. Just discovered that Omnicef is causing this to a huge degree wtih me.

Also cutting back on my lunesta/trazadone sleep cocktail becuase if you look up those side effects it lists decrease in urination as well. Omnicef even listed cessation of urination. Trazadone listed blood in urine, which was happening to me.

My body does not like me taking antibiotics, which keep me alive. It is a catch 22.

I would say to go off all medication and start adding them back in one at a time, with your doctor's supervision of course. Figure out which pill is causing this.

For me, anything taken at a high enough dose to elminate disease symptoms causes this decrease of urination.

I hope you are able to discover what is causing this for you and find a good med combination for you. I know it is miserable! So sorry indeed. But I believe there is a solution for you too.

Mary
