I catch myself grinding my teeth like literally 30 times a day. I never use to do this before. What infection causes this?

You may be low in magnesium, but the cause could be parasites, which deplete the body of vital nutrients.
Parasites/worms can be considered a co-infection of Lyme and should be treated in order to get well. Do a search on here by typing parasites into the search bar at the top for lots of info. Also check out the recent thread GiGi has posted on parasite symptoms.

I have also read that bruxism is a symptom of Ehrlichiosis.

I did that early in treatment. It was very frustrating.
But it eventually went away with protocols.

i don't think it's magnesium. I take 8 potent oral magnesium pills a day.

Knight,
I am concerned that it's possible given the amount of "potent" magnesium that you are taking, that you could be experiencing some side effects and or toxicity.
I have seen bruxism as a side effect in some meds of patients that I had as a nurse. I would consider cutting back on the dose of magnesium to see if this symptom calms down.

TENSION! Knight, your body probably feels like it is under attack all the time -- because it is.
Just for the record, we have family members without Lyme, in excellent health, who teeth-grind because of tension at work.
