I know Dr. B and most LLMD's prescribe Plaquenil or Amantadine with Zith or Biaxin. This is to raise cellular PH so it is more effective against lyme.
My LLMD just put me on Zith a few weeks ago..mainly for Babesia (along with Malarone / Artemisinin.)
But..I'm not on Amantadine / Plaquenil.
Has anyone else taken Zith without these other drugs?

I take Zith for targeting Bartonella. I take it without any of these other drugs. I take it with Ceftin. I am on an abx break right now, however.

Not only does Plaquenil help the zith, but it's also antimalarial. My LLMD had me on the Plaquenil.

We have been to 6 or 7 LLMD's between 2 of us. None of them gave us amantadine or Placquenil with zith.
I asked the most recent one about this and she just said she doesn't use it. I'm taking enough abx that I am not worried about it for now.
