I'm on my third month of doxy for early Lyme (and possibly no co-infections), and this week my urine leukocytes were elevated to 70+. Of course I'm planning on asking my MD about this, but he's not a pro at Lyme.
I'm just wondering if anyone here has any info regarding elevated leucocytes in urine with Lyme & co. Is it possible that the borrelia are infecting the urinary tract??
Thanks a lot.

The leucos go up if there is any infection or other things going on in the bladder or UTI tract which needs more leucos.
It can be lyme but also just e-coli and also urinary parasites or cpn...
You know your urinary tract is involved and you need to find the reason.
