Hello, my friends.

Does anybody have trouble lifting light-weight objects?

I can lift medium-weight objects fine, but for some reason it's very difficult for me to grasp and handle light objects. I can't understand it. Is this a common Lyme symptom? Is there a name for this particular symptom? Is it neurological in nature? Do you have any more info about it?

Thanks a ton!!

Same problem. I could grab a computer, monitor, etc, but my hand would pass right over my glass of water and not grip it.

Fine motor control was crap. Broad movements worked better than small things. Sometimes my hands wouldn't even work.

Now it is general and random weakness.

I have this problem too. the other day at work, I dropped a blood culture bottle and it shattered. I seem to have a problem with perception as well, continually bumping into things or hitting my head on the cabinet.

Yes, I have the same. I talked to my neuro about it and he said it was the carpal tunnel worsening. I'm not buying that, this was a sudden onset that occurred shortly after I got infected 6 weeks or so ago.

A few days ago I was putting some glasses away in the cupboard and one seemed to almost jump from my hand and fell onto another glass. The resulting explosion of glass shards caused numerous small lacerations to my left hand.
